yes, on a regular basis
- When I walk down my street if I am thinking I want the light to turn on or off it works about 50% of the time and if I dont think about it it works about 75% of the time. Nice to know im not alone.

I'm not alone
- I've always known there was a scientific explaination for this. Among dozens of street lights along the road, only the one that i'm walking beneath goes off.. Creepy! It is also weird that it only happens when i'm all alone in the street and i'm in deep thoughts even pensive.

SLIder
- I have always wondered about this as it happens to me frequently when I pass certain street lights at the end of my road or on my way to work, normally the same street lights, then it happen when I was standing in a long line at the sushi counter, in a hurry and prob stressing at this stage, when I finally got to the counter the power in the shop goes out and I needed to pay by eftpos, with all other shops around there shop was the only one to lose power, and it didn't come back on till late afternoon I heard. Funny that now it all makes sense lol

street lamps
- It's strange. I read only about people turning them off. With me it's the opposite. The lamp turns on for a couple of seconds when I pass and then just switch off again. It happens to many times to be 'faulty bulps' I sometimes gets a visit by a strange force/power in the form of wind. I sometimes hear the song in my mind before the radio is switched on ???

More than lights
- Im fifteen, at my house the power turns off without exp. Many times. My cell phone is the exact same as parents and I can get better signal but it will have a full battery then just die. I took it in to cricket and they had no exp. I almost always have static charge like when you touch each other and get shocked.

SLIghtly Unusual
- Slightly Unusual, that is, that there is no mention in the story of the fact that many street lights--depending on when they were made--have a thermal-overload protection circuit. Don't know about all the other stuff (phones, toys, etc.) Next time you notice a street light going off when you drive under it, go back and check it a couple of hours later; it will most likely be back on. That's been my experience anyway. It doesn't happen just when you drive under it (if it happened when you were a few blocks away, you wouldn't be there to notice it)!

It happens with my vehicles
- The two vehicles that I owned always had a battery problem as soon as I began to drive them. It never happened when it was owned by someone else. Also both radios would start giving problems. Could just be a coincidence, though!

I can turn them on and off
- wow watches have never lasted more then a day or so... all my body hair stand straight u up during electrical storms but All watches I have EVER received die in 24 to 48 hours, wrist, neck or necklace. I turn lights on and other things on, wow, I knew it was diff, I was shocked so many times when there wasn't a live current

Runs in the family?
- My late husband turned streetlights off like crazy. It would happen all over the place, where ever he drove. He had a hard time with certain types of watches...they would stop working after he had them a short time. And his cell phones always stopped working after a few months. My 22 year old daughter has started doing the same thing. She stops streetlights, and she can't keep a cell phone for longer than a month or two...they just stop working for her. I wonder if this runs in families?

watches
- I cannot wear watches, I have tried ring, bracelet, cheap expensive, ones. that hang on your neck. they die after one day. Have had alot of weird light things go on, but thought was my mom, cuz b-4 she died I told her to do things with the lights etc.(long story) and very true witnessed by my husband. After he died.. he did everything I told him to do..(except one thing) which I am waiting for on the anniversary of yr. 2.sap..(my initials).

car make lights turn off
- I agree with David Barlow "people seeing patterns in random noise". I was thinking maybe the car motor caused the interference when you drove under the light. Why would you think you did it? I'm thinking sound vibration interference.
