Daughters Seeing shadows
- My 10 year old daughter insists that she sees not only animal shadows but people figures. My older daughter was so convinced that she saw a man in our house while she was alone one day, we called the police. Now, I am wondering if it was a ghost?

- i ran a therapy group at a mental facility in the 90s. a patient described seeing a shadow figure lying in his bed. he said it meant him harm . he was afraid to look at it and when he turned on the light it was gone. creepy .. i never forgot it.

- Hi, 415!! I really think the shadow phenomena is mostly linked to night terrors, but not in a conventional sense. My girlfriend's experience is strange because: a) if the nightshade bloks out the room it must therefore block out the shadows, but she says she then knows they are not there! I am not convinced either way! If there is a supernatural explanation they would surely still be there? If not and it was a total night terror, the mask would make no difference at all ! More debate is needed for this phenomena I think!

- For the longest I wondered what I was seeing. Not wondered because like most when I looked up it was gone but as in "who are They". I have at times had multiple darks dressed figures fallow me. To the point I thought I was crazy. But one day I get a call asking me who was on patio. That was the first time she saw them.since then I have had a guy ask me how I control them. If ur wonder what I see or rather have follow me and oddly enough protect me.....if u have seen lord of the rings and remember the dark riders. Ok those are rated pg13 to what I see. - I lived in an old terraced house from birth to the time i was twenty years old many times i would see one of these beings standing at the top of the stairs just in sight the house was dark there was no electricity in the hallway for light so you had to go from the downstairs rooms up to the master bedroom before you could turn a light on it was always in the same place just at the top of the stairs, it was so black that it would stand out from the darkness around it but when you looked up at it, it would step back into the darkness, some nights i would be in bed sleeping when i would wake up and hear something come up the stairs from the bottom to the top, and it would always stop outside the bedroom door then i would fall back to sleep this would go on for four to five nights then stop for months, then start up all over again, one night i came home from work the clock's had just gone back to GMT winter time i had to go up stairs to get ready to meet my girlfriend, this night my father

- I was lying down in my bed at night with my door open and the living room light on when this shadow ball came floating into my room. It was just moving across the room and it started to blend with the darkness in the rest of my room. I didn't see it until it was in my doorway and coming towards me. It wasn't moving very fast and as soon as it got close to me the feeling of the room darkened. I couldn't take it anymore and ran out of the room. When I came back a few minutes later it was gone but my blinds on my window were moving as if some wind had passed through them. I have always been sensitive to paranormal activity and that may explain why I felt the room darken but not why other people saw the blinds moving. You may be shocked to hear that this is coming from a 15 year old girl.

my personal shadow
- I've had a shadow person that seems to be interested in me enough to follow me through 25+ years of my life since I first saw it when I was 6 years old. It can cause a cold feeling or simply follow behind me close enough to make the hair on my neck raise and stay that way until my shadow is told by me to leave. I tell it that whenever it comes in the house because of how uncomfortable it makes me by being there, but it never actually leaves me any further distance than outside of my home but still has the ability to watch me from where it retreats to after I use the power of christ's name since that is the authority with which I've succeeded in my many experiences with having to tell it to leave the house immediately. I doubt it's anything good to follow around and require what I must say just to get it out of the house and I've given up on the idea of getting rid of it completely. After this long, who's to say it wouldn't just find a way to come back.

Shadow People
- I had an experience with "shadow people". A while back, my mom was in the hospital, my grandmother was watching me and my little sister. It was pretty late, and they were a sleep on the coach, in the living romm. I was still up playing my nintendo DS on the other coach, when something caught my eye and I looked up from my game...I saw a shadow of what it looked to be a person...but you could see throught it...it was a shadow...It walked out of my mom and dad's room and through the dishwasher in the kitchen and disappeared...But when I saw it, it didn't really bother me so I went back to playing my game... I told my grandmother what I had seen and she got me and my little sister and took us to her house for the rest of the night...my grandmother never seem to believe in ghosts or anything like that, but after I tlod her she never, ever stayed out our house alone...

- A friend and I were walking around talking about how we should go out. When I see a shadowy figure right behind us. I tell her not to look back and when I tell her to run she should run. The shadowy figure was now getting closer but when I looked back there was nothing there. Just a shadow. I tell my friend to start running back to my house. As she starts running the shadow starting getting closer. As I pased my friend when i see her trip and scream. She started crying and saying her leg hurt. When we stepped inside she was breathing hard and holding her leg. When I lifted her pants to see what had happened, her leg was bleeding and there were scratches all around her leg. We went into my room and I looked out the window, when i saw the apparition staring at my window.

Shadow People Theories Cont.
- Another explanation for shadow people could deal with cloaking technology. Now before you roll your eyes at my suggestion, you'll find on many creditable news sites (yes even cnn) that scientists have recently discovered (or come close to) creating actual cloaking technology for a 3d object. It is caused by using a certain material to deflect light away from an object. Since most reports collaborate that most sightings happen out of the corner of the eye, this could mean that the shadow was using a cloaking technology and that the object can be partially seen through the corner of the eye where the light bends more. And for those of you who have seen Torchwood, Yes, the explanation can be similar to the Fountain Entrance of Torchwood's base in the first season.

- my belief is that they are pure spirit beings...they could be demons but they are not ghosts, rather something other. They are harmless physically but one of my encounters with them involved a series of vivid and terrifying waking dreams....more recently I just felt it pausing outside the door to my bedroom.....they exude cold and do indeed engender feelings of...not simply fear.....more an inescapable knowledge that something inhuman is nearby which triggers an instinctive and powerful aversion

- I have seen movement sometimes at the side of my vision when I been reading or looking at something intently at the side of my vision ....... but can anyone tell me what I am seeing when I have my eyes closed and are trying to sleep ? A shadow, that appears even darker than I see with my eyes closed, passes across my vision. It has been as if someone moved across the room I am in. Have sat up a few times expecting to see someone in the room ...... Anyone had similar experiences ?

Shadow Trance and Gate they come through
- I have so many tales to tell but one at atime. Shadows paralyse U when u sleep but it is happening b/c my girl see's it to. I woke up to see the 7 ft tall hooded man with bright large yellow eyes and around him was the brightest light I've ever seen. He stood by my door to my room for two minutes looked at me then vanished. Usually they run when I see them to other rooms or behind things.The tall one's watch me when I sleep thats when I and my girl are in a trance and talking in our sleep to each other but everything is exactly what I see in my room and they're there standing by me watching me but it gives me a feeling I can't describe mixed with fear and curiosity.I have tried to ask them what they want but no response. Also, I do think they're in my walls b/c in the house creeks now from front to back and on the sides and loud! I almost died a few times and some think they protected me but who knows. How do they pick which people to watch. I'd pick Paris Hilton not my boring life!

- Has anyone ever saw shadow animals?I am very sure that I have,I work in aveterinary office and have seen very low to the ground shadows.Generally the size of a kitten.
