(1) Willow Pecorari says:

I believe that there will be attempts on the life of our new president (no brainer), but I also feel that the failures of these attempt(s) will create apositive impact and as a result, the economy will rebound in a very positive manner.

I believe that there will be an enlightening regarding the possibility of interactions with ghosts that will result in messages from beyond that again, will have positive and beneficial results, if only we listen from other’s past mistakes.

I believe that a true faith healer will become known and that their gifts will lead to miraculous medical discoveries that were always known, before the witchcraft hysteria that caused so many talents to be suppressed and therefore, like unused muscles, atrophied and became worthless. These healings will send a ripple effect throughout the world and cause healings of many before now, incurable afflictions.

I believe that there is to be a greater spiritual awakening resulting from these healings and that there will be peace never experienced between ethnicities and faiths as never before seen.

(4) LeAnnB says:

I am certain that the US will face another large crisis – as big, or bigger than 9/11 in the next year. It will be Obama’s big test, and he will surpass all of our expectations in how he handles this incident.

Expect increased UFO and paranormal activity in 2009 due to the awakening of more spiritual interests.

(5) Joey OBrien says:

A beginning to the end of movie theaters, I predict more violence…everywhere around the world. I also predict a nuclear war in the east which will actually STAY in the middle east, no WW III, but it will adversely affect the entire planet. We’ll also find out more about UFOs and aliens but no disclosure…EVER!
these are just wild guesses. I’m not psychic.

An older member of the British Royal Family will pass away. Probably a male member

(7) Kenneth Steele says:

I believe that any predictions for ‘09 have certain fundamental flaws, as did all our predictions for the years prior. According to my research, and the fantastic book “stumbling on happiness”, our predictions for the future are based largely on our experience of the past. Our experience of the past is more than alittle screwy, because our brains don’t store memorys in specific and explicit detail. Rather, they remember certain key aspects of an experience (this cake is sweet, soft, smells like, etc), and fills in the blanks for us based on logic and reasoning. Basicaly, the cake experience we REMEMBER having ISN’T the cake experience we had at the time.
I think the future is alot more flexible than most “spiritualists” give it credit for. If one “decides” that things will happen in a concrete way, than(for them) they will. We make our own realitys by how we percieve them. Nonetheless, on New Years Eve I plan on casting a one year tarot forecast for myself, utilizing the “full calander spread” described on Byzant’s web site. If it’s nothing else, it will be fun.

(9) Penne says:

The year 2009 brings greater unity amognst mankind and allows for more wholesome and authentic relationships to develop. Our inate relationship with nature and all living beings enhances allowing us a greater insight into our own natures, way of life and our cyclic rythmy, therefore guiding us back to healing. The countries of North Korea, Pakistan and Indonesia let there power be known, and are quickly balanced out by energetic forces. Natural disasters will cleanse in many ways especially volcanic eruptions in the ocean off the coast off America, Sth America and Indonesia. New land mass will emerge agian from the oceans. A new faith will sweep the globe and many people will heal them self with this renewed energy of love.

(10) max says:

We mustn’t think of time as being a linear progression from cause to effect. As the great man said… “time is a large ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff.” Those with the right equipment – Tardis and sonic screw-driver – can unravel the ball and predict the future. Keep your eyes open. Be watchful at all times. Don’t look away. And don’t blink!

(11) Janet says:

I think that there will be another terrorist attempt that will fail. I think that this president will enlighten people and put them at ease. I think that more and more will seek and start to have a little more understanding of spiritual awakening. I think we’ll have life altering climate experiences that will change the way we live. I think people will finally start to live life with a more open mind and become more friendly.

(13) Jem says:

I am an automatic writer, and have written a book, and helped others. I am non-religious, do believe in conspiracies, and that earth is an illusion, a game – that all that really exists is divine love. This is my prediction for 2009, (I live in Cleveland about an hour’s drive east of Brisbane, Qld., Australia). – In 2009, there will be an attempt to assassinate the USA President & it will be blamed on the Middle East, but it will not be terrorists who attempt it but sources from internal secret agencies because of the fact they want violence to cause fear & more power. There will also be another bomb in a place Australian tourists travel to, killing many. For Australia, weather will deteriorate in cyclones appearing in the North, & more storms for Brisbane. Another man will rise to power in the Middle East. Tension will rise between Pakistan & India, & Japan & Italy will both experience earthquakes. My automatic writing predicts much more, but this will do. Love to all.

I think this next year will be scary only for those who pay attention. Our country is already sooo corrupt and I am worried about certain things starting to come into play. I won’t mention exact things you can look them up.

(15) Isaac says:

I predict:
The worl economy will continue to falter. During which time both Russia and China will make power plays to assert their dominance on the world stage. The other countries of the world will unite to oppose this devasting the Russian economy and causing severe disruptions to the Chinese economy. The Chinese economy will loose control of the population and be consumed over the next 5 years with a variety of problems stemming from internal corruption and economic revolts within the provinces. The hostility in the Middle East will continue to escalate resulting in Israel launching mini-nukes against Iran and Syria. In the U.S. the corruption and power grabs among the congress and senate will lead to major economic distress and mini-revolts. The government will respond by deploying US troops within its borders to control the population which will bring the country to the brink of a civil war. A leading group of military leaders sieze control of the nations internal power and transportation grids forcing major reforms within the government forcing the govenrment to be more responsive to the people and removing substantial powers from them. Because of economic fears, many among the worlds population will turn toward a more self sufficient lifestyle. Those with knowledge in these areas will become regional leaders and advisors.
