The best paranormal show on t.v. is, paranormal adventures. They show a lot of real stuff. and I like the 3 guys. they tell all about how ghost and buildings react to their ghost boxes and other fine thins they have. They don’t just jump around at every little thing, they show real things I like them a lot, best shoe ever.
Ghost Adventures is pretty good except the main guy, Zach Baggins, is so annoying! He really drives me nuts but they’ve found some of the greatest paranormal activity, including a brick flying through the air by itself. Another good one is TAPS because they are extremely professional. Paranormal State is another good one.
Ghost Hunters is one of the best paranormal shows on television. Grant and Jason always does a complete investigation with every case and is not afraid to let someone know that it’s not always the paranormal that’s disrupting your home or business it could be the case of just old pipes or wind blowing through cracks.
Hands down ghost adventures. Real evidence real reactions and the equipment to proof that ghosts are real and Aaron is the funniest dude ever
What channel is Ghost Adventures on?
Ghost Hunters kind of annoys me.
I like the people who seek out and usually debunk the story.
I can’t remember its name.
As for regular TV, I liked Medium as it is truth based. But it changed to only dreams, which I know isn’t the case. It has had its run and is going away as Ghost Whisperer did.
Haunted is fairly good too.
I’ve watched Ghost Hunters for years. What I really like is that they work to debunk things. Sometimes it gets old, so I take a break, but then I’ll tune it in again.
I find the host of Ghost Adventures too annoying to watch.
I like Celebrity Ghost Stories on BIO. The stories vary widely, all across the ghost spectrum. Very interesting, too, is watching the celebrities tell their stories. Their vulnerability and humanity break through the usual gloss. And most of them are really good at telling their stories.
My Ghost Story (BIO) is often really scary. Again, watching people tell their stories is incredibly engaging.
The Haunted on Animal Planet is similar, but brings in aspects of animal hauntings and animals reacting to hauntings.
I have always been a fan of Ghost Hunters but sometimes
it gets a little drawn out and I think that Jason Hawes is
starting to act like this show is really bothering him which
is anoying he seems like a bully to his crew ! I really like
Ghost Adventures thes guys are great except for all of the
cussing , grow up guy’s and be more professional . I also
enjoy Paranormal State the team are very professional and
make interesting , I wish that they get some video footage of ghost’s sometime if it’s possible ? People love to be scared , me too !
I like Ghost Adventures. Because the show is on the Travel Channel, you get 1/2 hour of historical anecdotes and 1/2 hour of ghost hunting with the best recorded evidence on video. Sure the guys can get a bit tedious but they are mostly fun to watch.
Ghostly Encounters on Bio is also a favorite. The set up is a one person storyteller with some recreation of events. It reminds me of that cancelled but brilliant show “A Haunting”. However, the host and the morality “lesson” that ties the two segments together is obnoxious.
Paranormal State started out okay but has since degraded to fabricated narrative, personality clashing, and ZERO evidence. Ryan is also a big douchebag (and not in the good way like Zach Baggins).
The point of these shows is to scare you and that’s a rare thing. Actual video evidence is also the point and few shows actually show anything.
I really love the bio’s ghost stories…the true stories of real people are great and often times as a child i have exp. the same thing…I also love animal planets new show the haunted I feel animals can tell us many things about ghost.
My favorite was Ghost Hunters, but now it’s second to Ghost Hunters International. We have to watch it on the computer since cable isn’t available, but those old castles have some interesting inhabitants. Also the time they went to the place in Puerto Rico where they took injured soldiers was disturbing but interesting nevertheless. That was one time I truly wanted to believe in residual haunting.
I enjoy Paranormal State AND Ghost Adventures cuz I get to see both Ryan AND Zak. NICE!!
For me, “Afterlife”, a British drama series is by far the best paranormal show I’ve seen. It does not indulge in celebrity actors and the lead woman (Lesley Sharp)plays a middle-aged, realistic psychic, who is driven to psychosis by her harrowing experiences. She has enormous empathy though, with the living and the dead. There is an academic writing a book on her, but he has just lost his young son and resists her assurances that she can see him.
An excellently made program in two series. I wish they would make another!

I really enjoy “Medium” starring Patricia Arquette. I like that it is based on the life of a real person, psychic/medium Allison Dubois. Arquette does a super job of portraying her, making her paranormal experiences believable, and bringing home the point that those who are blessed with these psychic gifts are not weirdos, but normal everyday people, as in her case, a normal suburban mom who just happens to have a direct line to the “other side” as it were, and some inside info that most of us aren’t privy to.
I use to be obssessed with Ghost Adventures but I have cable now and I can’t watch it anymore. Ghost Hunters is REALLY annoying and it gets really boring because they’re TOO sceptical, either they’re rejecting everything or they just don’t go to any haunted places. I also really like paranormal state, although the don’t catch much evidence its still entertaining to see younger people and not plumbers.
My favorite right now is My Ghost Story (wish they’d have more new episodes tho).
I used to watch Ghost Hunters faithfully…it was really good the first couple of years but then SyFy got too involved and it got so it seemed almost pre-planned…did you ever notice Jason & Grant are the only ones who ever get the REALLY good evidence?
I tried watching Paranormal State a couple of times but Ryan got on my nerves. He is so full of himself it makes me sick.
I like Ghost Adventures too, sometimes Zak sounds kind of ridiculous when he’s trying to bully the spirits but I like how they take time to really tell the history of the place they are investigating as well as interview people other than the owners.
I also like Psychic Detectives, partly because one of the featured psychics (Phil Jordan) lives in my area. It makes the stories a little bit more personal because I usually know locations, etc that are mentioned, or even know about the story they are telling.
i like ghost hunters, for the debunking they do.looking at kris and amy isn’t bad for the eyes either. monsterquest is good too,if you could just see some real monsters on there sometimes. destination truth is great, but they don’t ever seem to see much. ghost hunters international and paranormal state are ok if the first three i mentioned aren’t on. ghost adventures would be ok if they didn’t run screaming and crying like babies every time something happened. i’ve never heard of paranormal adventures or afterlife but would like more info on them.
The best are Ghost Hunters and Paranormal State. The researchers are on a genuine quest and use a scientific method. Any evidence they find only supports the legitimacy of paranormal research. Ghost Adventures is only three hormonal adolescent boys running around screaming like little girls and pretending to be tough. Many of their so called EVP’s are very suspect. I wouldn’t be suprised to find out they fake 99% of their reported evidence. I’d watch CSPAN before watching them again.
Ghost Hunters has turned into a totally commercial show. Some of the old “assistants” have come forward and made comments that things are “setup”. It started out pretty good..but the evidence is just not there. They turn toward sights/sounds the audience nevers get to see or hear.
Ghost Adventures is good. Zach is crazy, but at least the evidence they find/produce is viable and somewhat believable. The same goes for Paranormal State. Ryan and his team appear more personable to the “normal” person and they address personal hauntings. The Haunting on Animal Channel is one of my favs as well.
I like ghost hunters-paranormal state-haunted, but sum of the other paranormal shows I think are rude. Why would some one go out of there way to taunt spirits who are just stuck and can’t find their way of crossin over? They should be helpin them.
My two favorites are Paranormal cops and Ghost Lab. Of course, they’ve both been cancelled. I’m sure it’s because they don’t “stage” everything. They just hunt like a “true” ghost hunter does! I don’t need to have someone entertain me, ghost hunting is not always successful folks. I’m a paranormal investigator myself. We sit for hours and hours and get nothing at all! It’s not like Zak, always being possessed (fake), and Jason and Grant always catching something (staged). I don’t need all the b.s.!!
Paranormal State is by far the most overrated show about the paranormal. The corny voiceovers, the creepy background music, and the old psychic (Coffee’s his name?) are annoying. The whole thing is just over the top. And, of course, they always claim there is paranormal activity in all of their sites yet are never able to capture any tenable evidence. That show’s garbage, in my opinion.
I gotta say Supernatural!!! It has everything, plus the chemistry between the 2 brothers, it’s like every episode is a movie in itself. Very good acting, really great humour, and when something’s tragic, it does move you. Very original, unpredictable stories, very upbeat!

Max and Marius, thanks for the reminders. Supernatural is must watch TV for me. Afterlife was so good. Another good BBC show is Sea of Souls, about paranormal researchers.
I really enjoy Ghost Adventures. Who cares if Zak gets a little crazy sometimes, it is all in telling the story. Aaron is riot, his reactions are classic. Even Nick gets scared sometimes, I really enjoyed when they were at Linda Vista and Nick almost jumped out of his pants in the surgical suite. I am a surgical tech and can confirm that I have heard and seen some pretty strange things while setting up an operating suite by myself. Overall they seem to be pretty good guys, and the show does have good entertainment value. Has for setting it all up, they do have. an extremely small crew, that would take a lot of people topull off a gag that good. Like Zak said, until you have seen a ghost first hand….who are you to say what’s real.

I know there’s a couple more I cant think of right now, but I enjoy them all. I also loved Ghost Whisperer until they canceled the show for no reason at all; it was doing a lot better then a lot of the other shows that are still going on now.
Ghost Adventures crew take the time to give a full backgound/history where they are investigating. They take the time to thoroughly interview people. The evidence they capture, through the use of top of the line equipment, is believable.
Ghost Hunters are a group of arrogant jerks-GRANT especially. We stopped watching after their “Academy”-where they treated students like crap–instead of teaching they were especially mean………
my self my daughter and my two sons and my two grandsons have a gift we can talk to dead and we see the dead we hear with are ears but we still use a tape to recored some times some times spirts are so weak they dont have a lot of engery to speak loud. but some of the people we have been doing this since all the kids were small and my self im now 57 there are dead amoung us all the time. we just cant see them or hear them most people because they are scared to say they belive . but how can you not belive . we see them we hear them good ones and bad ones they come to you when you are awake or sleep. they are just happy they found some one that knows they can hear them and see them some of them dont know they have passed. but the people some of them go on tv make money off this stuff and make the spirts mad. they are not thinking one day they will be dead and i would not want to be them because they will run in to them again the ones who bouthered them and chased them .

I believe most if not all paranormal investigation shows fake evidence to get more ratings. I can’t take any of them seriously because of that.
Concerning the paranormal, if I wasn’t there to witness it, then as far as I’m concerned, it didn’t happen.
Ghost Adventures, seem more like thrill seekers, than evidence seekers.

The Haunted Collector should be arrested. I call fraud. Its the same formula – Get the ghost stories about the place from owner, find intresting(valuable?) antiques, scare the owners into giving the item to them. Thats stealing to me.
I like ghost adventure. When was the last time ghost hunter found some real proof. Destination truth is good and Fact and fiction is good. All of them can improve on something.
Love the ghost adventure team. Also love the Dead Files. That is an awesome show too. Used to like Ghost hunters but after watching them live on Halloween the last couple of years I was quite disillusioned when watching how many people are in each area at a time. Any so called “ghost noise” probably came from one of the many camera and sound people in the room.
I think the best and creepiest is “A Haunting” and “The Haunted”.Both are very good and gives you a chilli feeling.Ghost Lab for example is all made up.I’m 100% sure.
Paranormal Witness on Syfy is one of the best ones. I’ve watched some of the episodes online.
I can’t stand Ghost Adventures – it’s a lot of camera shaking, screaming and pseudo-possession!! I like Ghost Hunters, but I’ve heard that Jason is a bully when the camera is “off” – there is never a reason to bully your coworkers!! Destination Truth is too contrived – you can tell that it’s the same producer as Ghost Hunters! My LEAST favorite show is Fact or Faked – they try to debunk claims using the latest and most expensive equipment available – please, tell me, how many people have access to the type of equipment that they’re using??? Trying to debunk a UFO using weather balloons being pulled by an airplane??? Recreating the lights over LA by using military grade and studio grade lighting?? What average Joe has access to these things??? It’s too unrealistic. My favorite show (I’m sorry, I don’t remember the title) is the one using Chicago detectives who alo happen to be ghost hunters; they use police techniques to investigate paranormal claims.

Too much, “DUDE!” this, and “WHOA BRO!” that. Not to mention they’re always shouting, “Did you SEE that??” when obviously the camera didn’t catch anything. Although they do occasionally catch some pretty cool stuff, they’re basically just annoying…

These guys are awesome! They do everything in their power to find out the truth and nothing is smoke and mirrors. Plus, they do much more than just ghosts! I like that it’s different; not just the same ol’, “let’s go into an abandoned insane asylum with our cameras….bro”
They are all entertainment which really has nothing to do with facts, real experiences or even real evidence. They should be treated as such.
Ratings fuel this fiasco, if they dont make it suspenseful and fake events to keep the viewers interested they would lose the show in a season.

I think the ghost hunters are all fake. That’s why theyt have to charge you so much if you want to go on a hunt with them. They need the money so they can pay the tv to air them.
Paranormal Witness is well done. High production value. People with interesting experiences. Lots of stories I haven’t seen before. They put a lot of thought into it.
I think if you watch these shows for anything more than entertainment value, then you are a little too gullible. Ghost Adventurers, is comical, really, Zac seems to have the ghosts calling his name, or being under their influence. In addition, they get some real weirdos on the show.
Ghost Hunters, they constantly ask each other, did you do that, did you say something, if they looking for a freakin ghost why would they be making noise? Besides, if they are looking for ghosts, why do they talk so damn much?

Ghost Lab, this one is a real joke, they are always trying to strong arm the ghosts, yelling at them, demanding that they show themselves.
