Incubus
Attack

This happened several years ago when my children were still very young. My husband at the time went to work very early while the kids were still asleep. We were living in the mountains of North Carolina and I started noticing strange occurrences that were happening in the house, which was very old. The children had even talked about seeing actual forms of spirits in their closet and rooms.
That morning the house was quiet and I had got up with my husband to say goodbye before he left for work. Since the kids were still sleeping soundly in their beds, I thought I might rest some more before my own day began and the house was full of noise and activity. I seemed to very quickly go into a state of deep, deep sleep and I felt a presence (in my sleep) weigh down upon my body very heavily. This "being" or thing seemed to be extremely strong and very, very forceful. I remember him because I knew in my heart it was "male" in gender to the point of actually having sex with me, which seemed like quite an eternity. I remember feeling the "fear" of whomever was doing this and trying to ask him to please not hurt me. I kept trying to tell myself, this is a dream... please, just let me wake up! What seemed like forever, this thing had sex with me and it felt like I was being raped to no end.
When I awoke sometime later, my whole body felt so strange and I just kept blinking, trying to open my eyes thinking, what just happened? I knew it couldn't just be a dream because it felt so real and so phenomenal. I knew in my heart that something out if this world had taken place and I felt very scared and worried to the point that would happen again. Just recently, my friend (and ex-husband) said he had read about an "incubus" and how it was a demon that attacked women in their sleep.
