Shadow Man in the Brambles

I have just read "The Goblin of Groeslon". Wow! I live in Wales (South wales, actually) and I have heard of stories similar to this! It's really interesting! Anyway, I wanted to share my story.
This happened about five years ago, and we had only just got our dog, Buster, who was a puppy then. My sister and I decided to take him for a little walk. Now where we live, one side of the house there is a main road, and on the other is a small quiet lane leading to a very large field and woods. We took our puppy on the lane by our driveway, as we didn't want to get involved in any scraps with dogs on the loose! We got his lead and went.
After five minutes or so of letting him sniff around, I had to go back to the house to get a pair of gloves (it was a cold day) and told my sister I would be back in a split second. I thought she would have been fine, as the house was only a couple of feet away. I went in, grabbed my gloves, and was just about to open the door when I saw her running down the garden path crying her eyes out! She was so scared she had left the dog out in the garden with the gate wide open, on his own!
I got our puppy in the house and asked her what was wrong. What she told me sent chills down my spine. She told me that while she was waiting for me to come back, she heard a rustling noise coming from some brambles and bushes, and decided to see what is was. She looked through a clearing and saw what looked like a silhouette of a big dog, all black. She stood there for another second to clarify what she had seen, when all of a sudden it changed from sitting like a dog to standing like a human being! She told me it looked like a man and just stood there, facing her. It was still all black, so she couldn't tell, but she thought it was staring at her! And then she ran back to the house.
What happened had affected her quite a lot, and now she won't even go outside on her own! We don't know what it was. Was it a shadow person? A shape-changer? I have been out on my own for hours searching to see if i can find anything similar, or to see what is was - but so far, I haven't found anything.
