Phone
Call from Beyond

On Dec. 19, 2004, my phone
started to ring at 4:20 p.m. In a static message that sounded electronic, I
disregarded that first call as a
bad bill collector call. The call registered as 000-000-0000. The call came
again at the same time the next day. This time it just made my blood curdle
and I could not understand most of the message, but I got the feeling it was
from someone out of this world and
a man at that.
I thought, hmmm, I am going to speak to my daughter about this since she is into the paranormal as I have been in times past and works in the parapsychology dept. as her main hobby. She has photos galore of orbs and vortexes. At any rate, I forgot to talk to her and had gone Christmas shopping and came back with the same message on my answering machine. I played it back and my daughter, who was sleeping in her room, heard it and freaked out.
The beginning of the message says that "If you receive these messages, then you know I am not where I planned. It is important, though, that I wish you a happy birthday and say goodbye. Goodbye, honey."
At this point I was crying because I heard my daddy right then and there. The connection became more static and he mumbled something about "please don't hate me." My dad died on New Year's Eve in 1996, and my birthday is on New Year's Day. I have been so hurt over the years that he would die on the eve of my birthday. I had not seen him in a few years. We never got to walk hand in hand on a walk. He was in a lot of pain and kinda psychotic near the end (hooked on perscription drugs).
The anniversary of his
death is coming this week and it makes me feel relieved in a way to hear from
him, yet sad. He is telling me goodbye and that he isn't where he had planned.
In 1996 when my sister called me to tell me he was dead, we were also informed
that he may have been murdered. When I drove almost a thousand miles to get
home, our home was infiltrated by police and investigators. My brother had called
me and told me he identified the body and he had been beaten to death. Oddly
enough, his auotopsy revealed no drugs, alcohol or foul play.
WHAT IN THE WORLD!!! I
have never understood this. Anyway, my daddy wants me to know that he is working
on getting to the
right place and wants me to have a happy birthday. I wish he would call again.
I forgot to mention that the call came again after it was taped on the answering
machine and I heard it the fourth time. He hasn't called back anymore....
