Sign
Language Ghost

My sister, who is a devout Christian and a Sunday School teacher for about 25 years, told me this story:
On or about February 15th, 2005, she awoke to find a man sitting astride her, but it had no weight, no legs; it was just from the torso up to the top of his head. He had dirty blonde hair and was about 30 years old. She was not afraid, but asked him if he was an angel. At that he started using sign language to her, and slinging his arms. She said, "I don't understand that language, can you talk to me?" With that, he just vanished.
The next night, she awoke, and he was sitting on the side of her bed, facing the wall. She reached out and touched his shoulder, calling her son's name, as she thought it was him sitting there. When she touched him, her hand went through thin air -- nothing. Again, he started using sign language and waving his arms. When she called out her son's name, "Is that you, Mike?" the young man got up and headed for the door. When he got in the middle of the room, he just melted away... vanished.
The next morning, my sister's husband almost died and was gravely ill for the next three weeks, hanging onto life by a thread. We decided it was an omen that her husband's illness was at hand.
