Ghost on the Tracks
by S. Cox

In June of 2004 while vacation in San Antonio, my family and I went out to the tracks to check it out. It was around midnight when we arrived at the tracks. Probably six or seven vehicles were already there when we arrived. We got in line and had our vehicle roll over the tracks several times. Yes, we had the hand prints on the rear of our vehicle.

Being a little skeptical, we decided to experiment with a basketball, thinking if our vehicle would roll up and over the tracks, the ball would roll in the same direction. Wrong! We tried placing the ball in several different spots on the blacktop with no results. Then suddenly the ball started to move back and forth from side to side on the blacktop. It looked just like two kids were kicking it between themselves. Then it appeared that one missed the ball and it rolled into the high grass on the side of the road.

After the ball did not move for a couple of minutes, my daughter decided to retrieve the ball. When she reached down to pick up the ball, it suddenly shot up out of the grass and back onto the blacktop! Needless to say, several of the other people watching decided to leave the scene rapidly. This was not GRAVITY! We thanked the kids for playing with us and headed back to town. You can bet the next time I am in the area I will go back.
