Birthday

This story was told to me by my friend, Nancy. Is it a ghost story or merely a coincidence? You get to decide.
A little background before we begin: when Nancy was in her early 30s her mom passed away. This occurred about five years ago and Nancy still misses her mom very, very much.
This year, on the night before Nancy’s April birthday, she was unable to sleep. Nancy stayed up late in the living room, channel surfing, thinking about becoming another year older, having another birthday without her mom there to celebrate with her, and see how big Nancy’s girls have grown. Right about midnight, Nancy looked at a picture of her mom on the bookcase, and said aloud, “Happy birthday to me, mom.” Then she went back to channel surfing.
Nancy said that not a few moments later, she flashed onto a scene on the TV where someone was holding a birthday cake that had written on it, “Happy Birthday, Nancy”.
Needless to say, Nancy feels it was a birthday wish sent by her mom.
