This remarkable photo, from Kimberly Gilbert of Fort Wayne, Indiana, also originally appeared in our Gallery. Our first impression is that is a somewhat artsy depiction of the classic image of Madonna and Child. It is, in fact a photo of a child in his mother's womb.
"This is an ultrasound picture of one of my twins, a boy, taken 10/20/05," Kimberly says. "Several people have told me that it looks as if the Virgin Mary is holding him and kissing his forehead. I have no explanation, but I at least think my twins are in good hands. I can't help but think the resemblence is spine-tingling."
Indeed.
