I loved this story because it proves that not even death, can break the bond of love. its a good feeling to know that our furry family members are waiting for us on the other side. I noticed that you stated regret but I hope this isnt guilt. You were doimg what was best for her and being a good pet owner. It is possible she knew, but also it was probably just her time. some people know when death is approaching and animals are more intuned to the supernatural than we are. Let your heart be uplifted and if you havent gotten a new companion for you and tortie, do so. Thanks for sharing.
