What I saw
I saw 3 spirits... I think maybe they were from the Civil War era... an older woman in a long dark brown dress.... a little girl who was probally between 11 and 13 yrs old... and a man who was in a dark blue Civil War uniform...he had rotted yellow teeth and dark eyes almost as if the eyes were all black
Where I saw it
it happened in my old house in the country. The house itself wasn't that old, but the land which its on is. I was sleeping one night and I was in a very deep sleep. Suddenly I'm awakened by something grabbing my arms very hard and growling and breathing in my face. When I opened my eyes, I saw a man in a Civil War dark blue uniform staring over me. His eyes were all black and his teeth were rotted out. I started screaming and he disapeared.... A week later I see the lady in a long brown dress walk past my side of the bed and a week after that I saw a little girl in a white long night gown standing at the foot of my bed staring at me. I sat up and asked her who she was. She smiled and disapeared. I didn't know why I kept seeing these spirits. Or what it meant why I was seeing them. I would hear noises, smell strong vanilla cigar smoke in my home... lights and water would come on in the middle of the night, doors and cabinet doors seemed to open by them selves. Then I started being awaken every night at 1 a.m.... and I would see shadows of people walk in my hallway... Then my tvs started turning channels and the volume would turn up and down by itself... started with one tv then eventually all of them did. We lived there 3 years ... and then moved and it seemed to stop....now I'm living in a new home... and I'm starting to feel as if there is someone here. Last night I was sleeping and I was awakened at 4 a.m. and something I could feel holding me down and I couldn't talk, I couldn't move, I could feel my mouth moving but no words would come out. I kept trying to wake my fiance up and kept saying help me in my mind because I couldn't get the words to form. Finally I could move and talk. When I looked at the clock it was 6 a.m.
